Structure

  • The InnoFuels innovation platform is structured in the form of a matrix: The seven pillars show the main areas of innovation.
  • Each of these focus areas is managed by a team. These are experts from the participating partner organizations from science, business and politics.
  • Other associated partners are also involved in order to benefit from their wealth of experience

Activities

  • Participation of all social groups in workshops and dissemination of information.
  • Creation of meta-analyses, roadmaps and a technical map to visualize and record national and international development efforts.
  • Establishment of a platform that examines and evaluates the feasibility of existing research approaches.
  • Initiating research projects.
  • Networking all those involved to enable further development and innovation through to scaling.
  • Close exchange and coordination with several federally funded programs that are working on the development of PtL and Advanced Biofules platforms and thus on the industrial production of synthetic fuels.

Duration and funding

  • February 2023 to August 2026
  • 5.2 million euros in federal funding
